Cards themself can be linked, grouped or tagged. Each set of cards is part of a project, which can be shared among users and permits real-time collaboration.
The software itself is quite experimental and uses a lot of cutting-edge technologies. You can use it to organize your todo-lists, software bugs, cooking recipes, work out progresses or your contacts.
Data can be easily exported to a spread sheet in case you need to calculate formulas or generate graphs.
Supported Browsers
WikiCards.net requires a somewhat modern browser. We highly recommend Chrome or Safari, since both support HTML 5 websockets natively. However, we currently run a flash based proxy to emulate the technology in Opera, Firefox and IE. The minimal requirement for IE is version 8 and even there the CSS3 support is quite lousy. Here is an overview:
- Firefox 3+
- Opera 10+
- Chrome 6
- IE8
We haven't tested the software in IE9 yet, but since it's currently in alpha stage, we want to focus on more important fixes.
